About the Training Program

Training Program:

This training program is developed for informal water and waste actors identified under the SCEJU project in the Counties of Kisumu, Nakuru and Makueni. The program has two sections – a Trainers guide and Trainees modules.

Trainer's Guide:

The Trainers Guide is tailored to offer guidance to trainers on how to maximize the effectiveness of the approaches and exercises included in the training modules. The Guide outlines the attributes as well as techniques necessary for a good Trainer. It further presents a summary of the modules that support the training, setting the objectives, content and delivery mode of each of the five modules as well as the expectations from each of the training sessions.

Training Module:

The Trainees Modules give detailed content for each of the five training modules. Each of the modules is designed as stand-alone and can be accessed individually to suit the training need of the trainee. The modules are accompanied by illustrative videos and training slides that the trainees can easily navigate. Each module is linked to detailed reference material that provides the trainee with additional knowledge. At the end of each module, the Trainee is invited to conduct a self-assessment of the module as feedback, which can be used to further improve the training package.
